Colerain High School Alumni: As an alumnus or alumna of Colerain High
School you are aware that we depend a great deal on the generous support from
our community. One way in which we
do this is through our official Partners in Education Program.
This program has been linking businesses with our schools for over twelve
years. This outstanding program won
state recognition a few years ago, and has served as a model for other school
districts desiring a business partnership program.
Our business partners have been extremely generous to our schools with
financial donations, as well as providing additional programs and services for
our students and staff. This school year a few major business
partners will not be continuing their partnerships with some of our schools.
Their leadership and support to the schools will be greatly missed.
Now is the time to bring in new partners and re-energize the program, and we are asking for your help with this endeavor. If you have been to our website (www.nwlsd.org),
you will notice that through the CHS Booster E-mail system, the district was
gifted $10,000 in much needed band equipment for our elementary students.
A Colerain High School Booster read a plea from one of our band directors
for used band equipment. As the
owner of an instrument company, this individual was able to contact our band
director and offer enough brand new band instruments for the majority of
students in need. We are truly
grateful for her generosity and willingness to help maintain our wonderful music
program. We are searching for businesses or
individuals who would be willing to provide financial assistance or services to
one or more of our schools. If you
are interested in becoming a Partner in Education, or would personally like to
support a specific program or project in one of our schools, please contact
Pauletta Crowley, Administrative Assistant for Community and Administrative
Services at 513-923-1000 ext. 612, or email her at crowpa@nwlsd.org.
for additional details. Listed below are the levels of partnerships, and a few of the many ways in which the partnerships work with our schools. Northwest
Local School District Business Partners
An Investment in Time, Talent
and Treasure
In
1995, the Northwest Local School District Business Partnerships began as an
initiative of the superintendent and the Board of Education.
The purpose of the partnerships was to link schools with businesses in
order to provide support in accomplishing the district’s mission, vision and
focus of improved student achievement. We
continue with our plans to develop partnerships and collaborate with
local/global businesses. The Time
in tutoring and mentoring, the Talent in real world skills, and the Treasure in
funding additional opportunities that our business community can provide,
helps Northwest Schools
in preparing our students for the future. Please
consider becoming a part of this dynamic Partnership In Education. Levels of Giving Level II Magna Cum Laude Level III Summa Cum Laude Opportunities Benefits to our Students, Staff and Schools The generosity and support of our Partners in
