| Hope all is well with everyone! Just wanted everyone to know the class of 1990's 20th reunion is sched for sat. August the 7th. Apparently, not enough rsvp and checks have been sent in and our deadline has come and gone twice! Beth and Will have informed us that 28th of July NO lATER will be latest to rsvp with money. | Update on the History of Colerain.
Mr. Eberly Hammack was the first Superintendent of the Northwest Local School District. Mr. Hammack had been the Superintendent of Colerain Township Schools since the early 1950s after serving as Principal of Colerain High School. His leadership in collaboration with the School Board resulted in the acquisition of property at 8801 Cheviot Rd. that would become the home to Colerain High School beginning in the Fall of 1964. I am happy to say that they have all lived happy and productive lives since graduating from Clerain High School. Donna A.Zimmerman (O'Brien)class of 66, has lived in Columbus Ohio and has work as HR manager for several fortune 500 companies. Tim A. 2010 is upon us and we are having a free class picnic at Colerain Park. We have reserved Shelter 2 and will have soft drinks and snacks. Everyone is welcome to bring a picnic basket or just stop in and say hi. Hope anyone seeing this helps to spread the word in order to make this a success.

| Greetings Class of '78: Best wishes to you and your family! Wanted to let you know that on May 27th the Class of '78 Memorial Fund presented awards of $250 to two Colerain seniors from the class of 2010. The awards were presented in memory of Curtis Mason and Tracy Krieg.
The memorial fund came to be through the efforts of Karen Claybaugh as a way to show gratitude for friendships that developed at Colerain and to remember those that have passed on. She has worked unselfishly on this project and has been instrumental in planning reunions the last two years. Karen has given the baton to me, so I certainly could use any help you can provide in moving forward.

| I went to school in Cincinnati until our Junior year, moved to wisconsin. Hated it, I remember many of my classmates growing up. Just had to comment on the injustice of growing up. | To all who knew her, Betty Lyon passed away about 3 weeks ago and was interred at Vine Street Hill Cemetery. Betty had been ill for a long time. Her married name was May. She will be remembered and missed by her family and friends. She leaves her brothers ED and Jim, and her sister Jean, her Mothr Ruth, and her nephews. Seems strange how time flies. Kirk's wife was released from the traditional medicine approach for treating stage 4 cancer this week because it is no longer effective. The family is seeking other options but these options will not be covered under any private insurance. We are hosting a benefiit and fundraiser on April 17th to help the family out. | Colerain's Boys Basketball team will be playing in a Division I Regional Semifinal game at the Fairgrounds Coliseum in Columbus on Thursday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. vs. Columbus Northland High School. The Coliseum is located at the Ohio State Fairgrounds and Exposition Center.
This is Colerain's second appearance in the Regional Tournament with the only other appearance being in 1967.
Colerain has been designated at the 'Home' team and will be wearing its White uniforms. To support the team, all fans are asked to wear WHITE!
Pre-sale tickets can be purchased in the Athletic Department on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for $6.00 each, cash only. Tickets purchased at the gate on the day of the game are $8.00.
To get to the Coliseum, travel north on I-71 to Exit 110B, 11th Ave. Turn left on 11th Ave. and the Coliseum entrance will be on the right. Parking will cost $5.00.

This is Colerain's first appearance in the District Tournament since 2005 and only the school's fourth appearance in its history.

| I just saw where Gary Schmuelling passed away in September. Of course, I hadn't seen him since high school but I remember him sitting behind me in History class pulling my hair, tapping my shoulder - anything to annoy me! | Hello everyone: Just a quick note. While visiting my friend, Kathleen Curk in Big Canoe, Atlanta in January, 2010, I was fortunate to met some of her dear friends. I met Carol Hass (Coffey). We were solicalizing and realized that we both graduated from Colerain High. Carol Coffey Hass graduated in 1968. We had a very enjoyable evening reliving our high school years. A friend of mine has taken the initiative to throw a "Combined Colerain High School Reunion"! That's right...that means no matter what year you graduated you are invited to come out and gather with the cards. | I am looking for members from the CLASS of 1970 who are interested in gathering for a 40th class reunion in 2010. On Decemeber 30th 2009 I attended Colerain Lady Card's basketeball game where past basketball alumni were recognized. Connie Distler Fenton (CHS 70) was there along with Marlene Baird (CHS 69) and Kathy Baum, Gwen Long, and other from the class of 1971. Hoping to get together with the GAA group again.
